DuCee Designs, LLC Attractive Wear is functional jewelry designed to “refashion” your clothing. Your DuCee Designs product is intended to be used by adults and should not be used for any purposes other than their intended use. Our products contain neodymium magnets. While our products are considered to be safe if used for their intended purposes as functional jewelry and attractive wear, injury and death can occur when safety warnings and instructions are not followed or if your Attractive Wear product is used for purposes other than those for which it is intended. Please read and follow our safety warnings and instructions to ensure that your product safely functions as intended.
DANGER: Keep Away from Children
Our products are not toys and are not intended to be used by children and adolescents. Our products contain small parts and decorative components that if separated from your attractive wear, could result in a severe choking hazard, especially for children under the age of 3. Our products may be acceptable for use by older teenagers (16+) only after they have read these safety warnings and understand that serious injury and death can occur if the products are used for purposes other than for which they were intended.
DANGER: Do not place magnetic clasps or magnets in your mouth or nose!
Severe injury or death can occur if magnets are swallowed or aspirated into the lungs. Neodymium magnets are substantially stronger than normal household magnets. Ingested magnets or magnetic clasps can be attracted together in the digestive tract causing pinching or trapping of the intestinal walls or other digestive tissue between them. This can cause a serious life-threatening injury requiring surgery, possible serious long-term health consequences, and possible death.
DANGER: Strong magnetic forces can affect medical devices!
Our products are not intended for those who have pacemakers, insulin pumps, or any other medical devices that may be affected by magnetic fields. Please consult your physician to determine if the function of your medical device could be adversely affected by magnetic fields before using your DuCee Designs product.
WARNING: Strong magnetic forces can affect medical devices such as pacemakers, compasses, navigation, and magnetic media!
Magnetic fields can influence compasses, GPS devices, or magnetometers used in air transport. They can also affect internal compasses of smart phones and GPS devices. Strong magnetic fields can damage magnetic media such as floppy disks, credit cards, magnetic ID cards, cassette tapes, videotapes or other devices. They can also damage televisions, VCR’s, computer monitors, and CRT displays. Avoid placing our products near electronic appliances.
WARNING: Do not remove magnets from their cases! Do not attempt to modify magnets!
Some of our products contain small magnets that may be a choking hazard, or could be swallowed or inhaled (see warnings above). Our magnets are made of a hard, brittle material that can shatter and launch small fragments at high speeds possibly resulting in physical harm including serious eye injury. Neodymium magnets can peel, chip, crack or shatter if allowed to slam together. Do not attempt to drill into, grind, or machine the magnets provided with your product. Doing so may produce a highly flammable dust or powder.
WARNING: Powerful magnetic attraction forces can cause serious injury!
Fingers and other body parts can be pinched between two or more magnets, possibly leading to significant injury.
CAUTION: Those with nickel allergies should avoid prolonged contact with our products.
Some of our products are made from metal alloys that contain nickel. Our products are not recommended for those who are allergic to nickel.
CAUTION: Your DuCee Designs product can quickly and unexpectedly attach to othe metal objects.
Your DuCee Designs product can rapidly attach to several types of metals including those found in household appliances, automobiles, and other consumer products. Possible damage can occur to metallic objects as a result of unexpected magnetic attachment of your DuCee Designs’ product to these objects.
NOTICE: The magnets used in our products can corrode and become demagnetized at very high temperatures.
The magnets used in our products can rust or corrode in the presence of excessive moisture resulting in a loss of magnetic strength and reduced functionality of your DuCee Designs product. The cases housing the magnets in your Attractive Wear product are designed to protect the magnets when your product is used as intended. Please note that our products are not fully waterproof and should not be submerged under water or used in excessively moist environments. Do not place your product in a microwave or oven.
